The Peña ‘El Palpelillo’ has presented Wednesday the poster announcing the Battle of Flowers Abarán 2024, the work of renowned artist Bran Solo abaranero with which he wanted to capture the essence of this popular celebration with a design that “expresses the joy of being all together again flooding the streets of Abarán color and life. The piece, dominated by blue tones, represents an abaranero or abaranera that, like many others, has waited for a year for this moment of reunion and celebration. “The poster is the expression of a single idea: that, finally, one more year we are all together to celebrate life,” expressed the artist, who, despite not being able to attend the event due to work reasons, sent a message of thanks.

During the presentation, Inés and Juanjo, presenters of the event and members of the organization, recalled that “this party is aimed at all ages and therefore we try to make the parade is appropriate for everyone,” they said, while thanking the collaboration of many people and collaborating companies make this celebration possible, with special mention to the City Council of Abarán “for their continued support”.

On the other hand, this parade of floats, scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, September 28 at 17:30 hours, could undergo a change in its route due to the works in the Avenida de Cieza (La Garita), so later will be announced what will be the starting point.

The presentation ceremony concluded with the presentation of a gift to the author of the poster, being Fina, Bran’s mother, who collected the detail on behalf of the artist.
