DUNAS DE SAL. Jaco Moretti Arts Gallery. Palm Springs, CA.

From 13 December to 4 January 2026, the JACO MORETTI ARTS gallery in Palm Springs, California, is hosting the exhibition DUNAS DE SAL (Salt Dunes), a solo show by Bran Sólo featuring a wide selection of his recent works. The exhibition opened to a large crowd and has since maintained a steady flow of visitors, both local and from other cities, coinciding with a particularly active period in the area’s cultural scene.

The opening was very well received, with 29 of the 60 works on display sold. The exhibition includes oil paintings, paintings on paper, drawings, Polaroids, cyanotypes and prints, all by Bran Sólo. This variety of techniques allows visitors to explore different aspects of the artist’s work, while maintaining a thematic and visual coherence that makes the exhibition a solid and well-defined whole.

The conceptual axis of DUNAS DE SAL is based on a specific location in the Mediterranean, close to where Bran Sólo lives, and is articulated around the direct relationship between body, landscape and memory: skin that tastes of salt, marked by the sun, wind and sea; a physical territory that also becomes an emotional territory. This starting point runs throughout the exhibition and provides context for the images, materials and silences present in the works.

DUNAS DE SAL can be visited at JACO MORETTI ARTS, Palm Springs, until 4 January. The exhibition offers an opportunity to see a large and diverse body of work brought together in a space that allows for a calm and intimate viewing of the pieces. Those who are in the area these days, or plan to visit Palm Springs, still have time to visit.
